Event: CXB 5k
This is a chipped event in which the runners with the fastest times will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division. Since all runners do not cross the starting line at the same time, division winners are based on their time, and not who crosses the finish line first.

Join us for a 3.1 mile run through the tree lined streets of the Chic’s Beach neighborhood located in northeastern Virginia Beach along the Chesapeake Bay.

Race Details
RACE ROUTE & PARKING
The race will start and finish at Commonwealth Brewing Company, housed in the historic Chesapeake Beach Fire and Rescue Station, 2444 Pleasure House Road, Virginia Beach VA 23455.
Park and Shuttle: Self parking and shuttle service will run from the Chic's Beach Shopping Center, 2113 Pleasure House Road, located less than one mile (.7 mile) from the brewery/race start. Last Shuttle leaves at 8:45 am. Please note that parking will not be available at Commonwealth Brewing. Thank you Bayside Christian Church for providing this free service!
CHIC'S BEACH 5K ROAD CLOSURES
Saturday, September 9
Roads closed at 8:15 AM until approximately 11:00 AM. Closures will be at the following neighborhood entrances:
-Intersection of Lookout Rd & Lee Ave
-Pleasure House Rd & Machen Rd
-Fentress Ave & Lee Ave
Race begins at 9AM. Roads will be closed from 8:15 - 11:00 AM. Vehicles will not be able to enter or exit the neighborhood during this time, so please plan accordingly. Park your car outside of the barricade area to ensure you can exit as needed on Saturday.
This is a special annual event in Chic's Beach. You are encouraged to cheer on the runners or register and join the fun!
