Come out and help us keep Chic’s Beach beautiful and clean!
Join us Saturday, May 30th 2026. Meetup at the Buoy 44 public beach access. 7:30am - 10:30am (come when you can) What to bring: Gloves (not disposable) A bucket (ex. Home Depot). We have about a dozen if you don’t have one. Water - stay hydrated. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Note: Since the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Clean the Bay Day and the CXB 5K are both scheduled for Saturday, June 6, road closures will make it difficult to hold our cleanup then. So, we’re moving our cleanup up one week—to the Saturday after Memorial Day. Plus, the area is sure to need a good cleaning after the holiday weekend!
Join us for a 3.1 mile run through the tree lined streets of the Chic’s Beach neighborhood located in northeastern Virginia Beach along the Chesapeake Bay. This annual event is Chesapeake Beach Civic League's biggest fundraiser of the year!Registration opens in January and is required for all who participate. Registration is expected to sell out before June 1. Walk up registrations will not be available on race day so SIGN UP EARLY! All Runners, Neighbors, and Friends are invite to join us for the post-race party!
