  Chesapeake Beach's Councilmember Joashua Schulman Hosting Community Meeting on Dec. 1

  Councilmember Joashua Schulman will host a community meeting to update residents on current city projects and issues. Topics of discussion include the citywide benefits of tourism and what it brings to our overall economy, new cultural arts funding and related grant programs and pedestrian/bike connectivity improvements currently underway in the district.

  The Chesapeake Beach Civic League will host a cozy holiday gathering for members, neighbors, and friends at HK on the Bay!

  Enjoy conversation, delicious food, a festive drink, and a special gift for kids to make the evening even more magical. Whether you’re popping by for a quick hello or staying for a while, we’d love to share holiday cheer with you!

  NEW 2026 EVENT DETAILS (please read):

  Members: Check in at the Civic League table between 5:00-7:00 pm to pick up your holiday ticket. Redeem your ticket for one drink and a credit towards any menu purchase. Individual memberships receive $5 and Family memberships receive $10 towards any menu purchase. Tickets may be redeemed any time after 5:00 until closing.

  Kids: We will have special prizes and goodies for you at the check-in table from 5:00-7:00pm!

  Pay your 2026 Membership Dues and WIN GREAT RAFFLE PRIZES!
  Join or renew online before arriving, or at the check-in table when you arrive, to receive a raffle ticket. Raffle drawings will be held at 7:00pm. Must be present to win.

  Join us for a 3.1 mile run through the tree lined streets of the Chic’s Beach neighborhood located in northeastern Virginia Beach along the Chesapeake Bay. This annual event is Chesapeake Beach Civic League's biggest fundraiser of the year!Registration opens in January and is required for all who participate. Registration is expected to sell out before June 1. Walk up registrations will not be available on race day so SIGN UP EARLY!
