• "See Something, Say Something." Call 911 or the VBPD non-emergency number (757-385-5000) if you witness a crime or suspicious behavior. 
  
• Alert neighbors by phone, email, social media, or on Nextdoor.com. These real-time alerts can literally drive criminals out of the neighborhood.
• Be a good neighbor! Consider the safety of your neighbors especially during storms, holidays, power outages, etc. 
• Don't be a victim. Lock car doors and put valuables in the trunk. Turn on outside lights. Secure bikes and lock garage doors or use bike locks. 
• Help maintain our safe neighborhood and let criminals know that Chic's Beach is not the place for them.
